Former footballer Thierry Henry becomes Booking.com’s official ambassador, promoting travel as a way for fans worldwide to explore their passions.
With the Summer Olympics and Euro 2016 set to take place in Rio de Janeiro and France respectively, there seems to be no better time for sports enthusiasts and fans to travel and experience the world.
Helping to push this idea forward is football legend Theirry Henry, who partners Booking.com as its officialambassador. For Henry, the sport opened up the world to him and gave him the opportunity to travel to every corner of the globe, spending time in destinations he only dreamed of visiting as a kid.
“That’s the real power of following where your heart leads you,” he said. “The unusual places I’ve stayed, the amazing people I’ve met, the incredible food that I’ve eaten — these are all experiences that have changed my life and memories that I’ll cherish forever.”
Besides a cameo appearance in Booking.com’s latest TV commercial, Henry will also be part of several initiatives that will enable him to share his travel experiences with fans worldwide.
