First Look at The UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97

The UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97 celebrates the silhouette’s 20th anniversary.

Nike has announced that the UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97 will be released at the UNDEFEATED store in Los Angeles this coming Saturday, September 16. The sneaker will drop not only in black, but also in a white colorway (see below).

A global release of the black colorway follows a week later, on September 21. Visit Nike.com for more information.

The UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97 in White

The UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97 features an all-black construction with green and red lines that flow around the shoe.

Other details include UNDEFEATED branding on the red line, insole, and tongue pull-tab. It also comes equipped the classic full-length Max Air cushioning.

According to SneakerNews, the colored lines might serve as a reference to Italy, a country where the Air Max 97 has seen popularity in.

This collaborative sneaker is also not part of Nike’s Fall collection. Featured in July, the collection includes three Air Max 97 models and 13 new colorways.
