Following up on their partnership in 2013, the WTAPS x Vans Vault Fall/Winter 2015 collection is a bumper pack of eight sneakers spread across three silhouettes – Era OG LX, Sk8 Hi OG LX and Style 36 OG LX.
The Vans Era has been a mainstay all these years, but this unique collaboration stands out due to the color on the mid and outsole that leaves the canvas upper a pure white.
Inspired by Japanese primary school uniforms, where the color of the shoe’s sole corresponded to the grade of the wearer, sneakerheads can choose from red, blue or green colorways, with WTAPS’ flag tag and co-branded insoles subtly completing the shoes’ look.
Cementing the WTAPS x Vans Vault collection as one that’s premium, the Style 36 comes in premium suede with full-grain tumbled leather stripes. Available in black, navy and wine, the shoes feature WTAPS’ military-style woven labels on the tongue.
Last but not least, the Sk8 Hi comes in a choice of black or grey, with croc prints distinguishing it from the general releases. It also has the military-style woven label on the tongue, along with a black midsole for that no-nonsense vibe.
The WTAPS x Vans Vault Fall/Winter 2015 collection is set to release on September 8th at Vans accounts worldwide. These shoes are hot property and will likely fly off the shelves, so be sure to snap them up quickly.
