Per annual tradition, Jordan Brand never fails to gift us with a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 11 just before Christmas 2022. This time, Jordan Brand drops the Air Jordan 11 Cherry, an adaptation of the Varsity Red colorway from the lows that were released in 2001.

Officially dubbed the ‘Varsity Red’, this Air Jordan 11 is outfitted with the same construction as the original Air Jordan 11 mid-top silhouette. The tongues and side panels are decorated with a white mesh build which is paired up with tonal leather accents in the heel overlays.

The Varsity Red hue is most prominently seen on the high-cut patent leather overlay. The color appears as accents on the Jumpman branding situated on the ankle, lining and insoles. The look is completed with a classic translucent outsole.

The Air Jordan 11 ‘Cherry’ 2022 is a homage to the OG ‘Cherry’ Air Jordan 11 and was first introduced as a low-top in 2001. It was later retro-ed in 2016 along with other pairs but was considered the more sought-after pair. The Nike Air Jordan 11 ‘Cherry’ 2022 is set for release on December 12.
