Update: February 18, 12pm (Singapore time)

The Air Jordan 6 Cowskin is slated to drop this Thursday, February 21. According to Sole Collector, this exotic iteration happens to be a collaboration with Social Status – a retailer originating from Charlotte, North Carolina.

From the outlook, the sneaker certainly packs premium materials all over the upper. You can cop it online this week on Nike.com, retailing at S$349. As always, fastest fingers first.

The Air Jordan 6 “Cowskin” adds a premium element to the silhouette with the addition of cowskin and snakeskin.

Sneakers are getting louder and brighter with every release. Brands are trying to make their sneakers stand out by making the most eye-catching pairs. Take for example the upcoming Air Max 98 “CNY” and the latest Off-White x Nike Air Force 1s. Each of these is vibrant with intricate details. But you don’t have to be bright draw attention to yourself, it’s all in the details. And that’s where the Air Jordan 6 “Cowskin” makes its stamp.

It is not the first time we have seen fur on a Jordan but the use of dark fur and black snakeskin adds a touch of elegance to the silhouette. Dressed in an all-black upper with the black fur covering the heel, side and toe box panels while snakeskin covers the rest. Purple accents are found on the pull-tab, midsole, and tongue as the sneakers sit atop an icy sole. There is a stitched “Nike Air” on the back as supposed to a Jumpman, a nice premium touch that sneakerheads are bound to appreciate.
