Ambush designer Yoon Anh’s latest project with Nike is based on the beloved classic Air More Uptempo. In the five years since Nike and Yoon Anh began working together, she has had the chance to reimagine some of the most iconic sneakers of all time, including the Air Force 1 and Dunk High SP. The Air More Uptempo silhouette has received considerable attention in recent years, with notable recognition from Cactus Plant Flea Market who referenced it for their Air Force 1 in 2020.

Yoon Ahn’s reimagined version of the classic Wilson Smith-designed shoe appears to have a relatively simple color scheme. The shoe features a Gorp-friendly colorway with bright yellow ‘Air’ callouts and Ambush heel branding. The shoe’s upper is primarily constructed with tan nubuck, paired with a blacked-out midsole and accents with khaki lacing, which appears to be wider and more rope-like. The branding, including the various “Ambush” hits and signature bubble letters of the shoe is highlighted in bright yellow.
Stay tuned for the official release date of the Ambush x Nike Air More Uptempo, which currently has no slated drop date or price.
