From now until mid-January, Beams will be taking over local boutique Colony to feature their impeccable collection of streetwear and apparel. They have been in the game for over four decades, building a cult following of fans who appreciate their forward-looking choice of apparel and labels. Set up in a department store format, Beams has over 10 outlets in Japan, catering to a range of fashion needs from formal to streetwear.
This collaboration between Beams and Colony would expand the Japanese brand’s reach to Singapore and give us a rare chance to cop some unique pieces for our rotation. Take your pick from over 60 labels – a mix of exclusive pieces from brands like Levi’s and Fred Perry, and in-house selections from Beams Plus and Beams F. Each piece is meticulously chosen towards building a complete and aesthetically pleasing outfit. The collection will carry a wide mix of designs and will draw inspiration from various cultures and looks. So, there is bound to be something for everyone!
The selection will be refreshed several times throughout the four-month pop-up in Singapore. Each refresh will bring with it new collaborations and an updated range of apparel. As the year draws to a close, expect to see the collection transition to fall themes.
You can check out the Beams pop-ups from now till mid January 2020 at Colony Clothing, located at 83 Clemenceau Ave, or Takashimaya till December 6, 2019. You can go to Beams.co.jp to view their full selection or follow their Instagram, @beams_official, for updates.
