History of the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘85

Devoted Jordan enthusiasts, particularly those who admire the Air Jordan 1, especially its low-cut variant, have an insatiable craving for the “OG” editions of this model. These iterations preserve a design that stays truer to the original blueprint compared to the standard AJ 1 Low.

Catering to collectors and die-hard aficionados, Jordan Brand presented a chance to possess a retro of the ’85 AJ 1 High in the classic “Black/White” colorway. And now, the Air Jordan 1 Low is at last undergoing the ’85 transformation, as evidenced by the return of the iconic “Neutral Gray” color scheme.

Construction of the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘85

The initial images of this retro duo have surfaced, revealing intricate details of its pristine design. The upper features crisp white leather panels with “Neutral Gray” hits accentuating the Swooshes, heel overlays, and Nike branding on the tongues. Classic Air Jordan wings logos grace the heels with a subdued gray fill. The midsoles sport an aged look with a slightly yellowed coat and matching “Neutral Gray” tread.

While reminiscent of the 2021 Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Neutral Grey,” this upcoming pair stays true to the authentic 1985 silhouette and presentation.
