Okini, meaning “thank you” in Kansai dialect, is a celebration of FIN’s 5th anniversary.
Highlights from the trunk show are a collaboration piece with Two Cats Brand (TCB); a Levi’s Type 2 inspired jacket that is made from 13 ounce green selvedge denim. Okini will also carry limited quantities of the SBTG x FIN bags.
FIN promises its preoccupation with mottainai (wasting nothing) will be demonstrated in the old denim scraps used in the collection of boro tote bags and repaired vintage German laborer jackets sold at the trunk show.
The trunk show will also be introducing a selection of photography by FARN and handcrafted ceramics by Cone No. 9 from Thailand. Local silkscreen artists, Nelson and JZ, will be screen printing at the event.
