Sneakerhead or not, everyone is a fan of futuristic-looking footwear that seem more suited to space travel. While we can’t just put on a suit and blast out of the earth’s atmosphere, with sneakers, we can always dream. And Nike’s latest silhouette will definitely keep your space-traveling dreams alive – for the ladies, at least. Check out the all-new Nike ZoomX Vista Grind, dropping this Thursday, July 4.
Over the years, we’ve seen the Air Mags on the feet of regular sneakerheads, Tom Sach’s Nike Mars Yard and the Jordan Apex Utility, among others. But nothing has been quite as outlandish yet stylish as this pair. The Nike ZoomX Vista Grind comes in a bold green and orange colorway, featuring a translucent TPE upper and a DIY-like Swoosh outlined on the side panels. But the true highlight of the silhouette is certainly the chunky, exaggerated midsole which extends over the orange rubber heel clip. Already a captivating sight, the sneaker draws you in further with cutouts on the midsole revealing a neon green inner layer constructed out of recycled foam.
The Nike ZoomX Vista Grind certainly ticks all the right boxes, from its neon colors, to the slick uppers and the sharp and chunky makeup of the midsole. Retailing at S$265, you’re looking at a cutting edge sneaker that can propel you to greater heights, literally. Ladies, find out how you can cop below.
