CASIO CASIO Singapore has announced a new partnership between G-SHOCK and the BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas, with G-SHOCK stepping in as an Official Sponsor of the race.
The tie-up brings together a watchmaker known for uncompromising toughness, endurance and performance with one of the most anticipated dates on Singapore’s running calendar, anchored in a shared spirit: pushing past personal limits.
Ahead of the marathon itself, G-SHOCK is launching its involvement at the Hood Loops Festival, a two-day celebration of Singapore’s running culture taking place on 5–6 September 2026 at Clarke Quay (3 River Valley Road, Block 3B, #B1-01, Singapore 179022).
At the festival, G-SHOCK will be running a booth centred on its “Time Is Right” Challenge, giving visitors a shot at winning a G-SHOCK watch through a simple test of timing and reflexes.
Joining is straightforward: head to the G-SHOCK booth, sign up as a CASIO ID member, and answer a few quick questions to take part.
The challenge itself puts participants’ instincts to the test — the goal is to stop a running timer at exactly 10:58, the time traditionally displayed by default on G-SHOCK digital watches. Anyone who lands the stop precisely on 10:58 stands to win a watch from the G-SHOCK Active Lifestyle series.
The booth will also showcase the Active Lifestyle collection for the duration of the festival. Designed to hold up through active training, the range is built for runners who want a durable, connected watch that keeps pace with their routine.
The Hood Loops Festival takes its cue from the weekly Hood Loops community runs, recreating the neighbourhood energy and familiar routes that runners return to throughout the year and bringing them together into one immersive event.
Expect zones built around moving, connecting and recovering, with booths, merchandise and activities aimed at runners and anyone living an active lifestyle.
