Rumors hint at a set of sneakers from Beyoncé’s collaboration with Adidas.
The new Ivy Park x Adidas collection is slated to drop October 15.
Beyonce turned her artistry into a tangible sneaker collection earlier this year, with the very first Ivy Park x Adidas collection. Leaks suggest that a new collection is in the works – one that follows in the footsteps of its predecessor.
The new collection comprises some familiar silhouettes with the addition of two new sneakers. Just like the first Ivy Park x Adidas capsule, we get an Ultraboost OG and her signature Sleek Super 72. The Ultraboost OG has a single tone upper with a contrasting outsole, just like its predecessor. However, instead of the striking plum-on-orange color scheme, the new Ivy Park x Ultraboost OG has an equally eye-catching neon yellow upper set on a gum outsole.
The new Sleek Super 72 receives the triple black treatment, a complete deviation from the first capsule. The construction stays pretty much unchanging, using a mix of leather and suede throughout the upper. But this time, all panels are color matched to create a solid black upper. Grey suede is used around the toe box, which works well with the grey chunky midsole.
In place of the Nite Jogger, Beyoncé dug into Adidas’ archives and pulled out two retro kicks: the Forum Mid and Forum Low. The two sneakers have fully pastel colorways – with the low coming a solid cream upper and the mid sporting a two-tone green tint colorway.
The collection is rumored to drop on October 15, so stay tuned for more updates on a Singapore release.
