We spy a number of fisherman sweaters, high neck jumpers and funnel neck zip-up jackets from the video. Other items spotted in the video include an argyle (diamond-patterned) sweater, as well as various fabric in black, rainbow, burnt orange, and red. Looks like the forthcoming collection will also sport a number of winter wardrobe staples in striking colors.
For those unaware, J.W. Anderson is a pioneer in the fashion world. He is also regarded as one of the best designers in the world after scoring the titles of ‘Menswear Designer of the Year’ and ‘Womenswear Designer of the Year’, awarded by the prestigious British Fashion Council in 2015, reports The Guardian.
The forthcoming collaboration will make J.W. Anderson’s luxury-wear much more accessible to the general public. The designer goes on to describe Uniqlo in the video, “…when I think of Uniqlo, I think of things that are perfectly made, that people have spent a lot of time considering; it’s a difficult job, and I think Uniqlo do it very well”.
Some sources speculate that the forthcoming collaboration will drop sometime during 2017 Fall/Winter season. Additionally, the collection will be released under Uniqlo LifeWear’s label.
