Inspired by car culture: Limited Edt (LE) is one of 12 global boutiques that has been tasked with putting their spin on the EQT Race Walk as part of the line’s 30th anniversary celebration. LE has chosen to home in on Singapore’s growing car culture where it comes to designing their super limited sneaker.

A nod to modern supercars, the LE x Adidas EQT Race Walk is constructed out of a mix of matte black nubuck, polished leather stripes and reflective elements. A similar combination of materials is often used in the extravagant interiors of most supercars.

Just like an F1 Paddock pass: The LE EQT Race Walk will arrive with a special serialized lanyard, so you know exactly which pair in the lineup you received. Like passes to the F1 night race, this lanyard is an all-access pass to a host of online content and entitles you to a suite of privileges, which includes vouchers and goodies at various partnering stores.

Nostalgic launch: From October 25 to November 7, Limited Edt will be hosting the Limited Edt Needs Equipment (EQT) pop-up at the Peninsula Shopping Complex (#04-46). The pop-up is designed to invoke the nostalgia of the EQT line and ’90s sneaker stores. The facade of the store is a nod to Limited Edt’s parent company, Weston Corp and their sporting goods stores of that era.

A special “Adidas Life Needs Equipment” coffee table book will be given to the first few sneakerheads who cop the LE EQT Race Walk. It chronicles the history of the EQT line and showcases all 12 collaborative pairs from Atmos (Japan), Carnival (Thailand), Commonwealth (Philippines), Extra Butter (USA), Foot Patrol (Britain), Hanon (Scotland), Livestock (Canada), Mita (Japan), Overkill (Germany), Politics (USA), Solebox (Germany) and Limited Edt (Singapore).
