Singapore’s leading sneaker boutique, Limited Edt and OG streetwear designer, Mark Ong aka Mr Sabotage have teamed up with New Balance to introduce the second installment of the ‘Urban Islander’ collection. The collection is slated to drop on December 15 and will include a New Balance 580, apparel and accessories. 

The highlight of the collection is the Limited Edt x SBTG x New Balance 580, which uses understated colors paired with striking design elements. A distinctive pineapple print is featured on the insole and lining, capturing the essence of the Urban Islander lifestyle. With premium materials like hairy suede, woven fabric, and 3M reflective materials crafted on the upper, the New Balance 580 represents the crossover between streetwear and culture, embodying the identity of the Urban Islander.

The trio defines an Urban Islander as an inhabitant of Singapore, which both Mr Sabotage and Limited Edt call home. The collab represents the nation’s people who hold “a deep interest in style, music, art and subcultures, an open mind to creativity, and who traverses the streets and paths less traveled”. The collection seamlessly blends urban sophistication with tropical flair, showcasing Singapore’s heritage through the use of different materials and pineapple print features on the products.

The “Urban Islander” capsule by Limited Edt and SBTG includes the New Balance 580 (S$229), Helinox Chair One (S$249), OMBAK shirt and shorts (S$199 and S$129 respectively), New Era 5 Panel camper cap (S$69), tote (S$149) and socks (S$19).
