Kicking off the first May footwear drops are four pairs of sneakers that will have you begging for the weekend to come sooner. First up is the highly anticipated Air Jordan 4 Bred, returning to the fold for the first time since 2012. Rounding off the list are fresh drops from New Balance, along with a collaboration between Bape and Suicoke. Check out the list below and find out how you can cop.
Air Jordan 4 Bred

The Air Jordan 4 Bred is one of the most iconic sneakers of all time. The thirty-year-old silhouette makes a comeback this year in its true-to-original form. While the last retro happened seven years ago, this year’s iteration will feature original details last seen back in 1989. Besides the iconic colorway, the sneaker will arrive in its the original 1989 packaging, along with the “Nike Air” heel-branding last seen in 1999. The sneaker will retail at S$279 (S$275 on END).

Bape x Suicoke

Bape’s iconic 1st Camo makes its mark on Suicoke’s new “DAO” model in this mouthwatering collaboration. The sandals feature a transparent overlay with a unique lacing system for size adjustment. It will drop in two colorways, priced at S$399 each; black for men and blue for women. Sizes range from Men’s US4 to US11 (excluding half sizes).

New Balance M1500PRT

The “Made in England” New Balance M1500PRT will come in a special edition “Sample Lab” pack featuring bold and lively tribal designs across the leather uppers. The mesh underlays, original New Balance ENCAP midsole in black, and gum outsole perfectly balance out the loud interpretation. The sneaker will retail at S$245.

New Balance M990

Cue the original “dad” shoe that’s been making waves for decades on the feet of tech innovators, celebrities and sneakerheads alike. This year, the 990 series receives brand new updates, including a TPU power strap, new Ortholite insert, and fresh branding on the tongue. Fans will be spoilt for choice with three classic colorways to choose from – grey, black and navy. Cop the sneakers early via END Launches, where they retail for S$295. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until May 10 for the black and grey iterations and June for the navy colorway to arrive at New Balance Singapore stores, where they’ll be priced at S$289 each.
