The shoes were originally released in the 1980s as part of the brand’s V-series. Subsequently, the silhouette made its return in May 2017, in three OG inspired colorways.
Now, the Nike Air Vortex gets re-released in six updated colorways: Desert Sand, Neutral Olive, Navy, Black, Cool Grey, and Mushroom.
Unlike its predecessor, the latest iteration features an upper crafted with both leather and synthetic leather.
Aesthetics aside, the sneakers will also feature a foam midsole along with Air-Sole cushioning. Other highlights of the Air Vortex include a rubber outsole and branding on its sole, tongue, heel, and sides.
All six colorways are now available on Nike Europe; each pair retails at 689,00 KN (approx. S$148). Customers in Singapore can shop the Nike Air Vortex in two colorways – gray and black – on Nike Singapore; each pair is priced at S$139.
