Nike has cut ties with ASAP Bari and VLONE after his sexual assault allegations.

According to Sneaker News, reports of Nike cutting ties with Bari was confirmed by a Nike spokesperson in a statement to the website. The statement reads, “We can confirm we are no longer working together”.

Consequently, it looks like Nike will also be canceling future Nike x VLONE collaborations. These releases debuted at the Paris Fashion Week in January 2017.

Accusations against Bari first stemmed from an Instagram Stories video leaked earlier in July 2017. The disturbing video, by Instagram user @soledout, showed the musician sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room. The Instagram account is now defunct.

The musician released a statement immediately after the video’s release, promising to “reflect” on his actions (image below).

The sportswear brand first announced its collaboration with VLONE in November 2016. The two brands have co-branded an Air Force 1 High during ComplexCon and set up a pop-up store in February 2017.

It is unknown if Nike will reform a collaborative relationship with VLONE in the near future.
