Virgil Abloh has only gotten busier since the immense success of his first Nike collaboration. From landing the role of Louis Vuitton’s menswear artistic director to a recent collaboration with Ikea, there seems to be no stopping the designer. The next rung on his climb to the top is a third sneaker drop for the track and field-focused collaboration with Nike. The upcoming Nike x Off-White Vapor Street sees Virgil take on one of the Swoosh’s modern running silhouettes, with a release date set for November 14.
As a fitting follow-up, Virgil maintains the design ethos of the “Athlete in Progress” collection that made its debut in June. Key features such as the spikes on the outsoles make a comeback on the Nike x Off-White Vapor Street. A secondary lacing system once again adorns the shoes’ uppers, along with the unmistakeable vibrant color-blocking. Expect signature deconstructed details such as the exposed tongue and a new transparent film laid over the colorful uppers.
Look out for these to drop on Nike.com and at select retailers on November 14 for S$239.
