Basketball culture and streetwear have long overlapped. And for French label Pigalle, the influence runs deep with founder Stephane Ashpool being a massive fan of the sport. Tying in with the recent opening of Pigalle’s newest multi-colored community courts in Beijing and Mexico City, a Nike x Pigalle collaboration collection featuring a range of street and court-ready uniforms will launch to highlight the communities that drive basketball culture.
There’s no questioning the collection’s appeal, with a number of the pieces featuring holographic details, multi-colored gradients, and distinct co-branding. The 90s-inspired Nike x Pigalle capsule, conceived with the belief in “the power of sport to move the world forward”, includes basketball shorts, reversible mesh vests, and hoodies, among others, toggling from minimal to bold colors seamlessly. Retail prices range from S$115 for the basketball shorts and S$185 for the hoodies, to S$795 for the coach jacket. Hit the link below to cop the collection.
