In April, we saw the highly anticipated Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 thanks to the sneaker insider page, apolloluo1976. Now, the word is that the drop is set for Friday, July 8 in Singapore. The women’s exclusive sneaker will come in a high-cut white and red and a low-cut green.

The Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 differs itself from the OG silhouette’s iconic features. It features elements like a higher ankle cut, a clean heel counter, and grey suede overlays. The overall design looks sleeker and cleaner courtesy of the white leather base. Nina’s branding is represented by the “Nina Chanel Abney” text written on the insole and a hangtag of Chanel Abney’s artwork in a frame.

Abney’s influence can be seen on the packaging as well. The top part of the packaging features Abney’s picturesque artwork which is a combination of a retro Michael Jordan image along with her branding plastered on the side of the shoe.

The Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 drops in Singapore this week. The high tops retail at USS$299 (approx. S$420) and the low cut is rumored to cost US$225 (approx. S$314). Her collection also offers matching apparel.

The Air Jordan 2 had last been remixed last month, with A Ma Maniére, a luxury clothing retailer.
