Pharrell x Adidas Hu NMD Green Drops On December 23

The striking Pharrell x Adidas Hu NMD Green was rumored to be a Complexland exclusive but has since been given a global release set for December 23.

The Pharrell x Adidas Hu NMD made its first appearance at Complexland 2020, as part of their sneaker drop line up. Most sites speculated that the sneaker would be an event exclusive, but this week Adidas has announced that the triple green sneaker will drop globally on December 23.

Pharrell has stuck to his 2020 rendition of the Hu NMD, giving the green kicks a textured upper and a basic outsole in place of a trail outsole. In a perfect balance between striking and calming, the Hu NMD gets a full green upper that is color-matched to the Boost midsole and outsole. Hits of mint green in the midsole blocks, lace eyelets and heel tab provide some contrast to accentuate the sneaker’s key features.

Embroidered into the upper is the Vietnamese text “nhân loại” which translates to Human Race. The white shimmery threading really helps the text to stand out, cementing it as the focal point of the sneaker.

Looking inwards, the sneaker gets a black sock liner that surrounds the foot reflexology map insole.

The Pharrell x Adidas Hu NMD could make an appealing alternative to those who are bored of the triple red sneakers often celebrated by sneakerheads. The sneaker’s balance of bright and soft green can help you stand out without making your fit look too wild.
