Pokémon meets art: New York-based artist Meguru Yamaguchi and British artist James Jarvis have come together to create a collection of t-shirts and sweatshirts based on the beloved Pokemon anime.

Meguru’s approach sees the use of his signature brush strokes to embody the courage of Pokémon in battle. To eagle-eyed fans, it resembles the background of the Pokémon battles in earlier seasons.

James Jarvis takes a more interpretive approach, turning iconic Pokemon into graffiti-style artworks. The minimalist works show clear line art and brush strokes that mirror street art.
