SBTG x Game of Thrones: HBO Asia Teases an Upcoming Collaboration

This is not a drill. We could be looking at an upcoming SBTG x Game of Thrones collaboration.

HBO Asia and SBTG have lifted the veil on their Game of Thrones collaboration which features four customized Adidas sneakers – the Continental 80, Falcon, Stan Smith, and Micro R1. Check out the designs by SBTG below.

A teaser post from HBO Asia is as official as it gets.

Indeed, something big is coming our way. Game of Thrones, HBO’s epic series based on the books by George R. R. Martin, needs no introduction. And neither does SBTG. The homegrown brand, which specializes in sneaker and streetwear customizations, appears to have a collaboration with the series in the works. Game of Thrones fans are used to analyzing all the juicy details in every episode of the series. This skill will come in handy when appreciating the detailed work SBTG is known for.

We’re still in the dark over the extent of the SBTG x Game of Thrones collaboration but the teaser images shared by HBO Asia suggest that sneakers could be part of it. What we can see is that SBTG has included some premium leather detailing embossed with the sigil of the three central houses – Stark, Targaryen, Lannister – and the fearsome White Walkers. The collaboration will likely drop before the final season premiere on April 15. Whether it’s a sneaker collaboration or exclusive merchandise, we’ll have to wait and see.
