If there aren’t enough reasons to make time for Sole Superior, here’s another: Nike will be launching the new Air Max collections on event day with a special surprise. Read on to find out more!

Only two days more to Sole Superior, Singapore’s first sneaker convention, and we’re all excited about Nike’s Holiday’ 13 Air Max Glow and Reflection collections, which will be released during the event and in time for the festive season.

The Nike Air Max is no newcomer to the sneaker scene, having made its presence felt since 1987. The shoe has been praised for its visible Air cushioning technology and Nike, inspired by the need to add yet more visibility to the shoe during night runs, has added a unique twist to its latest collection.

Enter the Air Max Glow collection, featuring glow-in-the-dark accents on the Nike Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Air Max 95 and Air Max Thea. On first glance, there’s seemingly nothing new about the shoe, with its innocuous white tape construction. But wear it out when the sun goes down and be the envy of many when they see the under-mesh glow-in-the-dark prints illuminated along the shoe.

On the other hand, the Air Max Reflect collection, also available in the four models mentioned above, has muted all-black silhouettes that may be overlooked by even the most discerning sneakerhead. But watch jaws drop when light meets the shoe, for the reflective taping and under-mesh accents transform the shoe from seemingly run-of-the-mill to shockingly beautiful.

Now for the special surprise: In conjunction with the release of the new Air Max, Nike Singapore will be inviting the sneaker community to Design Your Dream Nike Air Max. Plus, you stand a chance to win a Nike Air Max 90 made exclusively in your design!
