Here’s a detailed look at the Stampd x PUMA R698, a sneaker that reflects the ingenuity of Stampd’s award-winning founder, Chris Stamp.
Stampd takes on its second footwear collaboration by applying subtle perfection on the popular PUMA R698 model. This silhouette appears to be a sought-after canvas for designers and collaborators to work on, with the likes of Ronnie Fieg, Trax Couture x Footpatrol, ALIFE and Vashtie having worked on the silhouette in this year alone.
It’s no surprise if Chris Stamp, founder of Stampd and one of GQ’s 2015 Best New Menswear Designers in America, had a hand in the design of this piece. The Stampd x PUMA R698 is draped in a subtle off-white hue, with premium perforated leather and suede on its upper. Additional features include 3M details, a cracked earth pattern on the heel as well as outsole, and Stampd branding on the tongue, insole and heel.
