Timberland pairs up with Japanese streetwear label, monkey time, to launch a capsule collection that’s just in time for the Fall/Winter season.
With designs inspired by monkey time’s Japanese roots and street culture, along with Timberland’s signature functionality, the collaboration is given a good balance of trend appeal and durability.
The crew neck (S$179) and hooded (S$199) logo sweatshirts feature oversized fits and are stamped with an asymmetric Timberland tree logo on the back. The former is available in Dark Slate and Java colors, while the latter arrives in Bungee Cord and Moroccan Blue.
The collection also includes baseball caps (S$61) modeled after “dad hats,” a trend that has been making waves since the last season. Made up of washed cotton twill to complement its unstructured look, the 6-panel baseball cap comes in a trio of colors — Stone, Dusk Blue and Java.
The Timberland x monkey time capsule collection will be available at Timberland (313@Somerset, #02-10) on September 24th. Quantities are limited so be sure to cop yours fast.
