The unique segmented upper of the Insta Pump Fury makes the shoe a versatile canvas for customization. Sneaker stores and clothing brands such as Limited Edt, Atmos and AAPE have collaborated with Reebok to put their spin on the shoe. Perhaps the most significant collab would be the one with Chanel, hailed the grail of grails by some. The Chanel collaboration runner was previewed at Chanel’s 1997 fashion show but it never hit retail shelves subsequently. All this happened in the year 1997, long before high fashion and sportswear were on the same page, so imagine how ahead of its time this collab was.
