The iconic superclub that is Zouk may have found a new stomping ground, but they aren’t about to move house without a fitting and fond farewell.
If you haven’t heard already, Singapore’s iconic superclub Zouk will be moving from Jiak Kim Street, its home for the past 24 years, to brand new premises at Clarke Quay (Block C) come next year. The club’s lease expires this December and its relocation, set to cost S$10 million, is expected to be completed between June and September 2016.
But before Zouk relocates for good, it’s planning a series of parties and farewell bashes, along with a silver jubilee (25th anniversary) celebration in April 2016. Revelers who have been patronizing the nightlife spot since it first opened 1991 are welcome to relive fond memories up till May 2016, before a new chapter unfolds for the award-winning club.
Meanwhile, it’s busy as usual for the annual music festival, ZoukOut, which will take place on Siloso Beach on December 11th and 12th. More details on that in time to come. Follow Zouk on Facebook for updates.
