Adidas Originals recently launched the revamped Adidas EQT sneakers in a signature colorway: Turbo Red.
Now, the EQT line is back in a revamped colorway, and a set of five new EQT silhouettes: The EQT Support ADV, EQT Support RF, EQT SUPPORT ADV PK, EQT Support Ultra, and the EQT Support 93/17.
The updated EQT silhouettes will also feature Adidas Primeknit upper, webbing taped three stripes, and, depending on the style, either a Boost midsole or the EVA midsole.
Launched globally January 26th, the new EQT line is available for purchase either online via the Adidas web store or at select retail stores.
That said, those still hung up on NMDs or Yeezys might want to take a leaf out of the books of these 10 noteworthy people who have been spotted in the Adidas EQT:
Gentle Bones (Joel Tan), singer-songwriter, agrees that the EQT is a reinterpretation for the modern era. The singer is seen here sporting the new EQT Support ADV silhouette, priced at S$219.
DJ Koflow is no stranger to the Singapore hip-hop scene. The artist has been in the business for almost two decades and is about to get his own solo theatrical performance at the Esplanade soon. Here, he sports the EQT kicks in the Support ADV silhouette.
Rapper Waka Flocka was spotted attending the Adidas EQT meet and greet launch in Berlin alongside DJ Whoo Kid. The musician is seen here in awe of what appears to be the Adidas EQT in the Support 93/17 silhouette. Currently available online at Adidas US, priced at US$180 (approx. S$255).
Comedian John C Reilly might not be sporting the latest EQT range but we couldn’t resist adding him to the list. The Step-Brothers star is seen taking a stroll in the older Adidas EQT Running Guidance Primeknit. Currently available from Limited EDT at S$259.00 a pair.
Check out DJ Whookid in a pair of striped EQT Support 93/17. Need the same pair of kicks as DJ Whookid? Unfortunately, the Zebra kicks, originally priced at £155 (approx. S$275) are currently sold out. What you can get access to, however, is Whookid’s music, here.
Singapore talents have been taking to Instagram to profess their love for the Adidas EQT line. Paul Nagaoka, known for his role of Jared Toh on the soap, Tanglin, kicks back with the same EQT model sported by Gentle Bones and DJ Koflow.
If you’ve heard of the notable comedy film Ah Boys to Men, Tosh Zhang and his antics should be familiar to you. The actor has since appeared in Netflix’s Marco Polo.
Laioung is not lying when he says that he’s the Prince of Trap. Known for his dope music, the Belgian musician states that he is passionate about “music, fashion, and art”, which perfectly encapsulates the EQT kicks he’s sporting.
With over 38 thousand followers, Daryl Aiden is no stranger to the photography world. With a clientele list ranging from Topman to Coca-Cola, it looks like the Singaporean based photographer is set to take over the photography world. Much like the EQTs.
No EQT is Adidas worthy until Pusha T slips them on. Seen performing at the launch of the Adidas EQT, the musician looked comfortable sporting the EQT ADV in Black and Turbo red. The clean blacked out version with turbo red piping is available for purchase online at Overkill; retails at €129.95 EUR (approx. S$197) a pair.
