Nike has been introducing a slew of updates to their classic Air Jordan 1 models, and they don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. The brand has been pushing the envelope when it comes to design as evidenced by the Flyknit Air Jordan 4 and the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1s with the inverted Nike Swooshes. This time, Nike has taken it one step further by reconstructing the classic silhouette with an all-new midsole.
The Air Jordan 1 React maintains its familiar shape, but with the addition of the ever comfortable React foam midsole. Other tweaks include the raised rubber Swooshes on the side panels as well as the red pull tabs on the tongue that feature the Jordan brand logo and the words, “Air Jordan 1 React”. Currently, there only seems to be one white and black colorway, but we won’t be surprised to see more in the future.
Nike is set to drop the Air Jordan 1 React in the US on July 1. Stay tuned for an official Asian release date.
