The latest Eastpak x Raf Simons bag collection for SS20 marks the brands’ 10th collaboration.
Here’s a look at the collaboration collection, which comprises nine styles perfect for rebels on-the-go.
This year’s Eastpak x Raf Simons capsule is one to behold, featuring a grand scale of expression that fans of the Belgian designer will immediately identify. The collection, after all, employs the same disruptive style he laid bare on the runway after his bitter departure from Calvin Klein.
Returning to Antwerp, where his illustrious career began, the designer now turns to darker themes. Leaving “stoned America” means reconnecting with his rebellious subculture and youth-driven roots and he has translated that with this latest collaboration collection.
The transformation is distinct, with Eastpak’s range of bags now fitted with Raf Simons’ signature belt loops. Individually designed detachable pouches feature prominently as well across the capsule.
Unique renditions include the waist bag with two interconnecting pouches and the standout Pocketbag loop with four pouches styled as a backpack. If functionality is what you seek, look no further.
