CASIO Singapore unveils two new MT-G styles shaped by a first-of-its-kind AI-assisted design process.

The MT-G line has long been defined by its structural beauty and durability, marrying stainless steel with resin to striking effect. The newest addition, G-SHOCK MTG-B4000, marks a significant step forward for the collection.

CASIO Singapore has introduced the G-SHOCK MTG-B4000, built on an unprecedented collaborative process in which human-conceived designs were analysed and optimised by AI. The result is a unique frame construction that integrates carbon fibre and stainless steel, achieving both high-performance engineering and distinctive visual character.

The Watches

The series arrives in two configurations. The MTG-B4000B-1A (S$1,699) is designed for a dynamic, sporty aesthetic, featuring a multi-layered carbon frame and dial with vibrant red accents, paired with a supple, durable soft urethane band. The MTG-B4000BD-1A (S$1,899) offers a more composed, authoritative finish with a newly developed layered-composite band of stainless steel and carbon fibre-reinforced resin, finished with black ion plating across the bezel and band.

Craftsmanship and Materials

Crafted specifically for this evolution of the MT-G, the layered-composite band seamlessly integrates stainless steel with carbon fibre-reinforced resin. Each raised centre link is accentuated with distinct finishes that harmonise with the carbon-patterned profile, forming a unified silhouette from lugs to clasp. While the metal’s characteristic hardness imparts an aesthetic of uncompromising solidity, the band’s underside uses low-thermal-conductivity materials, keeping the watch comfortable against the skin.

Artisanal finishes are applied to every component, with the bezel, case, and band each receiving distinct hairline and mirror treatments to highlight their sharp-edged geometries. Sallaz polishing is used on select mirror-finished sections for exceptionally smooth, distortion-free surfaces. At the same time, the case back is shaped using metal injection moulding (MIM) and finished with a laser-textured matte surface that contrasts against the recessed TRIPLE G RESIST insignia.
