The H&M x Erdem gets a campaign film shot by The Get Down director Baz Luhrmann.
The Australian director’s filmic teaser stars two models running while dressed in outfits created by Canadian-Turkish fashion designer Erdem Moralioglu.
The teaser is accompanied by soft instrumental music, giving the ad some serious The Great Gatsby vibes.
There will be a mini movie for the H&M x Erdem campaign, also created by Luhrmann, reports Vogue.
It’s no surprise that H&M has tapped Luhrmann to create the teaser for its collaboration with Erdem. The Moulin Rouge! director is no stranger to fashion, having designed a holiday window display for luxury department store Barneys in late 2014.
“For me, fashion is always about more than just clothing, it is a form of expression – a stand-alone art form,” Luhrmann said in a statement.
If lush floral dresses and great sweeping coats are part of your wardrobe, you can look forward to the collection that’s scheduled to drop Thursday, November 2, in Singapore.
Meanwhile, keep an eye out for more teasers to come.
