The latest Footlocker TV spot sees James Harden taking instructions from his inner voice while dealing with everyday situations.
The clip shows Harden doing a bunch of weird stuff, like having an awkward conversation in the gym with two dudes, and getting into the car via an open window, all while rocking two different colorways of the adidas Ultra Boost.
Farrell voices the inner thoughts of Harden, and the unlikely pairing is a riot. This ad is likely a consolation for Harden, who didn’t exactly have a fantastic 2015-2016 campaign.
Although he did put up some amazing offensive numbers, it didn’t stop him from being named as the 2016 Shaqtin’ a Fool MVP. If only the voice in his head told him to play better.
