Looks like the two sneaker giants are teaming up for a special two-pack pair.
Photography blog Jordan Keyser has unveiled a sneak peek at the Air Jordan x Converse pack.
The sneakers are said to feature Nike’s Lunarlon cushioning, designed to provide durable yet lightweight sneakers.
Additionally, Jordan Keyster reports that the sneakers are slated to drop on Wednesday, June 28. The sneakers will be priced at US$300 (approx. S$415).
Stay tuned for more updates, closer to the sneaker’s release date.
The news first came from J23app, a third-party iPhone app that releases Jordan Brand related news. The app also reported that the sneakers will cost US$300 (approx. S$419).
Whilst both Jordan Brand and Converse have yet to reveal the sneakers included in the pack, Instagram account zSneakerHeadz speculates that they will look similar to the White/Caroline Blue Converse Pro Leather, as well as the Air Jordan 2 alumni (pictured above).
If the reports are true, this will be the brands’ first-ever two-pack pair. Jordan and Converse first teamed up in 2012 to release the Jordan x Converse “Pro Leather” to commemorate Micheal Jordan’s game-winning basketball shot in the 1982 NCAA National Championship. Nice Kicks also reports that Micheal Jordan sported mostly Converse sneakers back during his college basketball days.
