On December 19, Kendrick Lamar offered an official look at his collaborative Nike Cortez shoes on Instagram. Accompanying the post is the caption “DON’T TRIP. CORTEZ KENNY”.
The shoes, which come in a red/white colorway, feature the words “DON’T TRIP” emblazoned on the ribbon down the middle of the upper, along with Chinese lettering embroidered on the side of the sneakers, a nod to his alter ego Kung Fu Kenny.
The Cortez sports contrasting black laces to complete the look and an outer crafted of suede and leather. Nike’s logo and branding can be seen on the shoe tongue.
Little else is known about the collab. To date, no prices or release details have been revealed yet. As always, check back with Straatosphere for more information.
