Grateful to work with the greatest brands on earth on products I genuinely love. I bought a Pendleton towel last summer & loved it so much, I literally wanted to wear it. Thought it would be incredible to make sweatshirts of the same fabrics. Fall 2 launches w/Monday Program™️. pic.twitter.com/4UsEGy34E8

Kith founder Ronnie Fieg truly knows the value of collaborations. The partnerships he pursues always have a story to tell and a captivating purpose to bring forth products of the highest quality. For Fall 2019, Fieg’s collection includes a Kith x Pendleton collaboration featuring hoodies in native prints and Kith’s signature box-logo, first previewed on the runway last month. But the inspiration behind it actually came from an unlikely source – a Pendleton towel. “I bought a Pendleton towel last summer & loved it so much, I literally wanted to wear it,” he said via social media.
Turning inspiration to reality, Fieg tapped on the American textile company for its expertise in fabric to produce hoodies in the plush cotton towel fabric. Revealing the Kith x Pendleton box-logo hoodies on social media, Fieg also mentioned that these will drop as part of Kith’s Monday Program. While the full release details are unavailable at the moment, social media users are already eagerly anticipating the launch.
