Nike has announced that a new silhouette will join its ever-expanding lineup of sneakers this week. And it’s none other than the Nike React Presto. First leaked in November 2018, the new silhouette actually induced some very mixed reviews at first. However, with the success of recent reworks of the Presto range – thanks to CDG, Acronym, and Off-White – it’s hard to imagine this one being a flop. Besides, the colorways offered are perfect for summer.
The colorways, Brutal Honey and Rabid Panda, take on the character-based naming convention first adopted with the original Presto in the year 2000. Adding to that, a “Nike by You” customization of the sneaker will be made available as well. It will feature more colorways with original names such as Rogue Kielbasa, Shady Milkman and Unholy Cumulus.
These Nike React Presto colorways inspired by the original are set to drop this Thursday, May 9, on Nike.com. A wider range of colorways with new characters names will be released later, on May 16.
