Retelling history with design: Borrowing the elements of more than eight Air Max sneakers released over 31 years, the Nike Air Vapormax Evo chronicles the evolution and development of the Air Max line. If you look at the sneaker up close, you will recognize design cues from the Air Max 90, Air Max 93, Air Max 96 II, Air Max Plus, Nike Tuned Max, Air Max Solas, Air Max 180+ and Air Vapormax 2020.

Part of borrowing the designs of the ‘90s and ‘00s is the inclusion of the era’s famous plush mesh uppers which provide incredible comfort and a one-for-one fit.
