Virgil Abloh and Nike are back at it. Instead of deconstructing one of the Swoosh’s iconic sneakers, the designer has opted to create a whole new silhouette—the Nike x Off-White Rubber Dunk.

Abloh merged elements from Nike’s sneaker archive and line-up to create the retro-inspired kicks. The very layered upper draws inspiration from the P-6000 runner, while the visible midsole Air unit is reminiscent of the Air Max 1. Everything is set on a gum Dunk Midsole, to bring the silhouette back to the court.

Nike x Off-White Rubber Dunk Arrives On October 1

The colorway on the Off-White Rubber Dunk is lifted from the 2018 Off-White x Air Jordan 1 “UNC”. Hits of University Blue accent the silver overlays, midsole Air unit, and laces. To round off the Off-White aesthetic, the zip tie and lace eyelets come in bright neon orange.
