“Prison Break”, the hit TV series that ran from 2005 to 2009 is set to hit TV screens once again. Watch the first trailer of this six-episode return here.
“Prison Break” will bring back fan-favorite characters and lots of action in its six-episode return to TV in 2017.
The special reunites stars Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield), Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows), Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara Tancredi) and many others, who will reprise their roles in the hit Fox drama.
“Prison Break”, which first debuted in 2005, aired its final episode in 2009. In the finale, Scofield’s fate was sealed as flowers were placed on his tombstone, underneath which he was presumed to be buried six-feet under.
The 2017 return of the series sees Burrows engineering an escape to return the favor to the previously thought-to-be-dead Michael.
In the years that have lapsed since that final episode, Miller and Purcell went on to become recurring guest stars in CW’s “The Flash” and “Arrow”. They were also series regulars on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” as Captain Cold and Heatwave, which has certainly helped to keep their on-screen sibling chemistry intact for the “Prison Break” series revival.
And that’s about all we know. So watch that trailer and wait patiently till 2017 comes around.
