The iconic character who embodies the Star Wars franchise is set to make an appearance in the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story movie.
With action-packed scenes and the emergence of an old foe, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story looks set to be an epic prequel film to cap off this year.
No spoilers here, but that heavy breathing and metallic mask at the end of the trailer is a dead giveaway to fans who’ve been closely following the Star Wars franchise.
Set after the formation of the Galactic Empire, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story follows a group of Rebel fighters who band together to steal the plans for the Death Star before it is used as a weapon for destruction.
Those who have watched the Star Wars anthology will know how that pans out in the end, but it hasn’t stopped the makers of the film from creating a thrilling story that includes new and familiar characters and spacecrafts.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna and Riz Ahmed, with cameo appearances by Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker and Mads Mikkelsen. It’s premiering in cinemas on December 16th 2016.
