“With respect to the above information, on behalf of Mr. Chan, we hereby declare that any and all such information, as spread by such infringers, relating to Mr. Chan providing or about to provide acting services in the motion pictures Rush Hour 4 and/or The Karate Kid 2 is false; any relevant information released by any infringer through appropriating the personal WeChat and email accounts of Mr. Esmond Ren is false, and Mr. Chan does not have anything to do with such released information or the content thereof.”

Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan look set to reprise their roles as Detective James Carter and Inspector Lee, respectively.

While all the Rush Hour films had fans simultaneously gasping at Jackie Chan’s non-stop kung-fu fighting and laughing at Chris Tucker’s comical lines, 2007’s Rush Hour 3 seemed like the right time to draw the curtains on the franchise. But as it appears, our favorite mismatched duo might be making a comeback for Rush Hour 4. Chris Tucker has posted an image featuring him and his partner in crime-fighting Jackie Chan holding up four fingers. If that doesn’t hint at a fourth installment, we don’t know what does.

It’s been twelve years since Rush Hour 3. That said, Chan and Tucker’s batteries may be recharged for another go at it. “This is gonna (sic) be the rush of all rushes,” Tucker said to ESPN last year. “Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.” If the first three movies are anything to go by, we’re sure the next one will be unforgettable too. Here’s a refresher on some of the funniest and most iconic moments from the franchise.

“Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?”

“Don’t stop till you get enough”

“Who are you?”
