Sacai x Nike LDWaffle Pack: Fragment, Undercover, Clot to Collaborate?

Leaks suggest that the Sacai x Nike LDWaffle pack delivers colorways that are co-designed by legendary names in the streetwear scene. Here’s everything we know so far.

Undercover and Clot join in: Thanks to early leaks from the Instagram page, @sneakerjamz_new, we have gotten a glimpse at the Sacai x Nike LDWaffle pack, which includes colorways co-designed by Fragment, Clot and Undercover.

All four colorways by the designers are a reference to their prior collaborations with Nike: Clot’s pair is a reference to their Nike Air Max Kiss of Death that dropped in early 2021 while Undercover pays homage to their Nike Daybreak Bright Citron with their pair. The navy colorway done up by Fragment could be a reference to the brand’s Nike Rosc]he Run from 2014.

In the works since 2020: Mid 2020, the first leaks of this collaboration popped up thanks to fan images of Hiroshi Fujiwara rocking a dark blue Sacai x Nike LDWaffle.

Undercover x Sacai x Nike LDWaffle

More than just replicating colorways, the new Sacai x Nike LDWaffles get near-identical construction seen on the OG collaborations. The Undercover pair gets the same nylon base used on the Daybreaks and the Fragment colorway gets the mesh used on the upper of the Roshe. The Clot pair gets a translucent fabric as its base – an ode to the Air Max 1 K.O.D transparent toe box.
