The seventh edition of Malaysia’s biggest sneaker lifestyle convention, Sneakerlah 2023 will be happening at the Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC) from October 7 to 8. The convention has truly come a long way since 2015 where it all started at the Lot 10 Shopping Mall.

What’s different this year?

This year’s edition will feature the addition of a Vintage Corner as well as Concertlah. The Vintage Corner will be a dedicated spot for vintage clothing enthusiasts while Concertlah will be a full fledged concert on the evening of day one featuring both international and local acts. 

For the event’s key art and visual theme Sneakerlah has collaborated with talented Malaysian artist and designer Muntasir Mohamed. Muntasir is renowned for designing merchandise for various local and international brands and artists like Against Lab, Billionaire Boys Club, Drake, Nas, Olivia Rodrigo and many more.

What’s special about this year?

2019’s special guests Brendan Dunne and Matt Welty return to sneakerlah alongside their co-host Trinidad James who will also be performing at Concertlah. The hosts of Complex’s Full Size Run show will be making an appearance on both days of Sneakerlah. 

This year also features the Patta World Tour. Showcasing a documentary screening of Patta For Life and appearances by Patta founder Edson Sabajo. 

You can look forward to the Rare Pairs Exhibition by popular sneaker collector B53. Catch glimpses of some of the world’s rarest sneakers in person. See sports cars reimagined as popular sneakers at Motorsport Playground’s Kicks on Wheels showcase.
