This week, Adidas drops the Adidas ZX 2K 4D, a sneaker that merges a bold ’80s aesthetic with their most advanced midsole to date.

July kicks off with releases that blend heritage silhouettes with modern design sensibilities.

The Adidas ZX 2K 4D does just that, fusing ’80s style cues with Adidas’ most advanced midsole. Also coming from the Three Stripes is Pharrell’s sleek take on the classic Superstar. From the other camp, Nike gives the Air Max 95 some on-trend clip-on jewelry, placing the classic sneaker firmly in the present.

Adidas continues to inject new technology into their ZX line, this time with the introduction of 4D. The Adidas ZX 2K 4D sticks to the formula employed in other 4D sneakers – light textile uppers with an external heel cage set atop the light green midsole. However, to add in an ’80s flair, the sneaker comes with a full light green upper with black, light blue and neon orange accents dotted around the upper. A proper throwback to the styling and preferences of yesteryear.
