Beyonce Might Be Voicing Nala in “Lion King” Remake

Beyonce has been named director Jon Favreau’s top choice to voice Nala in the upcoming Lion King remake.

The Grammy winner and soon-to-be mom of twins has been called upon to lend her vocal talents to the Lion King remake.

According to Variety, Beyonce has not made a decision whether or not to take on the voice-acting role for the film due to her pregnancy. However, as the role only takes place within the confines of the recording studio, the team and director are happy to do whatever it takes to accommodate to her schedules.

Fellow artiste, Donald Glover who performs under the moniker Childish Gambino, is set to voice Simba and James Earl James will take up the same role he did in the animated original, as Simba’s father, Mufasa.

If Queen B were to go forth and deign to bless the production with her presence, we can surely expect a Nala with some serious pipes.
