Casio has announced the GA-110PKM, a new G-Shock shock-resistant watch created in collaboration with Pokémon, marking the franchise’s 30-year milestone in 2026. Rather than a one-off novelty, the watch is built on the GA-110, the model best known for its bold, oversized case and three-dimensional dial. They turned that familiar silhouette into a canvas for a string of Pokémon-inspired details, from colourway to inset dial, each one a considered nod to three decades of the franchise.

The hands, buttons, dial and bezel are dressed in red, green and blue, a nod to the palette drawn straight from the original Pokémon video games released in 1996. At 9 o’clock, an inset dial takes its cues from the Poké Ball, complete with an indicator hand shaped in the likeness of Pikachu, a small detail that rewards a second glance.

The tribute continues along the band, which carries 30 Pokémon in total, including three first partner Pokémon from each region, spanning Kanto through to Paldea, plus Pikachu and Eevee, bringing the band’s own count to 29. The band loop adds one more: Mew, the Mythical Pokémon introduced in 1996 and said to carry the genes of every Pokémon, rounding the collection out to 30. The case back keeps the celebration going with a specially engraved Pokémon logo marking the 30-year milestone, a detail that speaks to the level of craft applied throughout.

The collaboration extends to the packaging, where every detail has been considered for the Pokémon fan. The outer box is illustrated with all 30 Pokémon from the collection, while the watch itself sits inside special packaging shaped like a Poké Ball – a nod to the item most synonymous with the franchise. Together, the unboxing is designed to feel just as collectible as the timepiece inside.

As a G-Shock, the GA-110PKM doesn’t sacrifice any of its everyday toughness for the sake of the tribute. It keeps a shock-resistant structure, 20 bar water resistance, world time across 48 cities, a 1/1000-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, five daily alarms and an auto LED light. It keeps the same daily-driver credentials that have made the GA-110 range a street staple, dressed up in a design language that leans firmly into limited-edition territory. It measures 55 x 51.2 x 16.9mm and weighs 72g.
