Clot announced on Instagram that their upcoming Nike Flux Dunk will drop on March 18 at a retail price of US$150 (approx. S$204). The shimmery Dunks will come with an exclusive collectible card collection, each sporting a lenticular design that mirrors the sneaker. Scattered among the cards are two special versions autographed by Edison Chen. In total there are six designs and each pair will come with one card distributed at random. You can now join the raffle for the Clot x Nike Flux Dunk at Juicestore.com.
Clot and Nike are rumored to release a Dunk high for the first time. The Clot x Nike Dunk High was revealed by sneaker insider Instagram page, @apolloluo1976.
The Dunk features an iridescent silver upper. From the leaked images, it seems to be constructed out of patent leather or 3M material. The iconic Clot logo can be seen on the tongue, with white shoelaces and soles. Everything sits on the classic all-white Dunk outsole.
Leaks also revealed the special box that will house the collab sneakers. It sports a wavy division between a Clot box and a classic Nike Swoosh box, sans both brands’ signature colors.
This is not the duo’s first collab. Clot is known for working on Nike’s “Kiss of Death” Air Max 1 which was first released in 2006, following other famous collabs like the Clot x Nike Air Max Haven and Sacai x Nike LDWaffle.
